First Floor Extension Over Garage &

Extending & Remodelling A detailed client brief was agreed with the client to remodel the interior, convert the existing attic space, extension over the garage, form a sun room extension to the rear, and to refurbish the exterior of the original true bungalow. The original bungalow had three bedrooms and generally had a slightly odd layout.
The proposed works were to totally change the appearance of the property from a true 1950's bungalow with a large front and rear gardens to form a modern property complete with large family room, spacious and light kitchen with sun room extension off the kitchen giving access to the rear gardens. The existing attic space was also converted and extended to provide five bedrooms, family bathroom and en-suite. The finished property created a welcoming and dramatic modern space which suited the clients requirements |

Fist Floor Extension Over GarageThe property is a 1930 semi detached property which had been extended by a previous owner to provide an attached garage to the side of the property. The current owners faced the decision of move or extend as the property did not fulfil their needs.
The owner approached The Plan Centre with a wish to provide a first floor extension over the existing garage. We advised them of the structural and planning implications of the proposed design. A full set of structural calculations, planning and building drawings were produced and all necessary approvals were obtained to the satisfaction of the client. The final design significantly improved the appearance of the front elevation and provided a much needed fourth bedroom and study. |

Industrial UnitThe Plan Centre were approached by a previous client to prepare drawing and obtain local authority approval for the relocation of their business. The proposal was to form a light industrial unit complete with office accommodation. The proposed site was vacant with a gentle slope and in a corner location. The proposed unit is of a modern design with portal steel frame set on pile foundations and clad with composite panels. The proposal required full planning approval, building regulations approval, ground condition survey, and a detailed energy assessment. A full design service was provided by the Plan Centre including a level survey of the site and boundaries. The contract is a self build and is currently being constructed.
